G700

The G700 achieves 7,500 NM with NBAA IFR reserves at Mach 0.90 cruise. The cabin is 9.0 ft wide, 6 ft 3 in tall, and 56 ft long — accommodating up to five living zones including a full stateroom with bed, dedicated office, and forward lounge.

The G700 introduces a wider cabin (9.0 ft vs 8.5 ft), the updated Symmetry Flight Deck with active sidesticks, Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines with better fuel efficiency, and an extended cabin accommodating two more passengers. The G700 effectively replaces the G650ER as Gulfstream's flagship.

The Gulfstream G700 has a new type rating distinct from the G650ER. Training is available at FlightSafety Savannah for approximately $48,000. As of 2025, simulator availability is ramping — Gulfstream recommends booking 6–9 months in advance.

Variable costs run approximately $5,800–$6,800/hr. Annual fixed costs for a two-pilot crew, Gulfstream's Planned Maintenance Program, insurance, and hangar typically total $1.2M–$1.6M. At 400 hours/year, total annual cost is approximately $3.5M–$4.3M.

Production positions are booked 18–30 months forward. Pre-owned availability is essentially zero as of mid-2025. Buyers should expect either a new-production order with a 2026+ delivery slot, or the rare pre-owned opportunity that commands near-new pricing.
