Citation Latitude

The Latitude seats up to nine passengers in a stand-up cabin (6 ft / 1.83 m height) with a flat floor. Standard configurations seat six in club seating with a full aft lavatory and galley. The flat floor and walk-up lavatory are significant comfort advantages over competing midsize jets.

The Citation Latitude/Longitude shared type rating is available at FlightSafety Wichita for approximately $25,000. Two-crew operation is required. Pilots holding a Citation Latitude rating can transition to the Longitude with a short differences course.

The Latitude achieves approximately 2,700 NM with NBAA reserves. Its short-field performance is exceptional: approximately 3,580 ft (1,091 m) at MTOW, enabling access to London City and Courchevel that other midsize jets cannot serve.

The Challenger 350 has a wider cabin (7.2 ft vs 6.4 ft) and longer range (~3,200 NM). The Latitude is significantly cheaper (~$17M new vs ~$28M), less expensive per flight hour, and excels at short-field access. For buyers prioritising cost efficiency and airport flexibility, the Latitude wins.

Strong pre-owned liquidity thanks to high production volumes since 2015. Aircraft from 2015–2020 with 800–2,500 hours typically trade between $10M and $15M. Textron's global service network on six continents keeps maintenance logistics straightforward regardless of base location.
